I started this blog.
I’d signed the contract for CassaStar and my publisher told me to get my butt online.
I had no followers. My blog was plain. And my first post was a lame “Hi, I’m Alex…”
And now, three years later… whoa!
Almost 1700 followers, over 500 posts, and my blog definitely isn’t plain anymore. (Can’t confirm the non-lame posts though.)
This journey has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve made so many awesome friends and you’ve been supportive beyond my wildest hopes.
Thank you everyone for your support, your comments, and your friendship. It means the world to me. Today, I am not just a man of few words. There just aren't words to describe my appreciation.

Congrats on the three year blogiversary! well, *Cough* today's my birthday *cough* so three years ago I was doing basically the same thing I'll be doing today. Getting older.
I never get the regular film trivia - got all of the animated ones. I guess that makes sense. :) How about some SpongeBob or Thomas the Tank Engine Trivia?!!

Okay now you got me thinking, hell I don't know where I was yesterday, much less three years ago. But I'm squeezing my brain cells for an answer. November 2009, I was unpublished learning writing my first books and trying my best to figure out what the hell I was doing. I attended my first Romance Writer's Chapter meeting and the rest is history! Or should I say Her-story! Congrats on three years Alex, you have accomplished a lot!

I don't know what I would do without you, Alex. If I had never met you online, I think my blog would be different. You're the ONE who inspired me to promote fellow writers and I enjoy every minute of it.
It's just I don't know how you do it all even though you may have clones helping you out. You amaze me. I think about you randomly during the day and I have a smile on my face EVERY TIME.
You're amazing. You just keep inspiring, encouraging, supporting your fellow writers like no other person I never know. YOU STICK WITH US IN THE LONG RUN - IN THE BEGINNING TO THE VERY END. I'm in the very beginning of my writing journey and you've already helped tremendously with your undeniable, one and only SUPPORT system.
I know I've said this several of times but Alex, you're a rare friend to have. A friend that looks over you ALL THE TIME to lend a hand anytime, it's unbeatable.

Alex, thanks for featuring me. But I'm not a writing machine. Let me explain what happened. I had Oculus finished about the same month as Slipstream was published. I finished Slipstream two years before it got published by DDP in May of this month. To keep me busy while I blogged and while I looked for a publisher and queried, I wrote Oculus. That took me two years to finish which happened this summer after editing. So it just seems like I write uber fast. But I don't.
I'm only 2400 words into the third book and it will take me probably a year to write it. So it won't be until 2014 until I get the third book out.
So yeah...not fast. It just seems like it because I had a backlog of story available.
I loved the posts for IWSG; you and Morgan always have great ones. I only knew the last answer to the trivia off the bat :D AND CONGRATS!!!!!! Happy 3rd birthday :)
