ADVENTUROUS - A to Z Challenge

Today kicks off the A to Z Challenge! Blog the letters of the alphabet in order every day except Sundays (and not counting today.) The participation list is HERE – start with the blog after yours and visit at least five blogs a day. Mostly, make new friends and have fun!

My theme – I have selected a word for each day and will present to you blogger buddies who fit that description, along with movies, music, etc. My theme is to give back, highlight some awesome bloggers, and have fun in the process.

ADVENTUROUS

Melissa Bradley at Melissa’s Imaginarium
Now who could be more adventurous than Melissa? She’s not afraid to run with the geek boys when it comes to movies and music. She’s as much a fanboy as any many I know. She also writes erotica – now that is adventurous! Don’t let her wild nature fool you, though – she’s down to earth and a devoted friend. Hang with Melissa for a while and you’ll catch her adventurous and very genuine spirit!

Rango
Gore Verbinski directing a computer animated film. One that’s quirky and odd. One that pushes the envelope in computer animation. With Johnny Depp! It doesn’t get more adventurous than that. The animation is eye-popping and the story of a lizard in search of who he is and where he fits in to the grand scheme of life is heavy and funny. Obviously the risk paid off – Rango won Best Animated Film at the Oscars this year. And deservedly so!

Seventh Wonder - Mercy Falls
Big props to Seventh Wonder who created a masterful work about a man trapped in the town of Mercy Falls, a place that only exists in his comatose mind. This is an amazing work of progressive rock musicianship.

Ninja News

Amy Lundermans’s new book, The Misadventures of Daria Pigwidgeon, is free on Amazon through today!

Charity Bradford wrote a really awesome review of CassaFire last week. Thanks, Charity!

Are you following Melissa? See the movie Rango? Even know Seventh Wonder? (Big props to those of you who do!) And who or what would you say is ADVENTUROUS…?

Great to learn more about bloggers here Alex. I love Melissa's blog.

You're my 5th visit already for the A-Z. Nice to see posts trickling in on my blogroll. I was waiting a few hours to let the Americans and Ukers wake up but you're obviously an early bird or are prescheduling - of course that's it.

It's going to be a blast for sure.

I did see the movie Rango. I hadn't been so sure about it at first, but it was pretty funny.

I'd say that my cats are adventurous. LOL

Adventure, that big word. I was looking range with my son and was very funny.

Melissa is fantastic :) I've not seen Rango. That album sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out.

TF, traveling sounds more fun though!

Michael, maybe it was too quirky for her.

Amy, you're welcome!

Awesome theme (or is it themes), Alex! Rango looks like a good movie, but I haven't gotten a chance to see it yet. And I do follow Melissa already. :)

Alex, the most adventourous part of Rango is he recorded it with them all in the same room. Usually, they use a sepearte booth for each actor. One stray cough could ruin a whole scene!
@Melissa, I got a little man-tear myself.

Rango was so much fun. We caught it as a rental before the Oscars this year. :)

Hadn't heard of Melissa's blog. Never saw Rango. No idea who Seventh Wonder is. I'm 0 for 3.

But don't worry, I am dropping by Melissa's blog next. Sounds like a great blog.

I didn't love Rango as much as I thought with all the hype. But it was good.
