A Day of Conan

Last night was Conan O'Brien's last time to host The Tonight Show.
After ripping NBC all week, his parting words were honorable. I was just amazed. He took the high road and said nice things about his 20 years with NBC.
If you want to read what he said, go to the CNN article. Or watch it on Hulu!
However, I am NOT Conan - so NBC and Jay Leno? You suck!!!
No reason to watch The Tonight Show now...
In happier news...
Jason Momoa of Stargate: Atlantis fame has been crowned the new Conan the Barbarian! He's perfect for the part - can't believe they were even considering the kid from Twilight!
Filming begins March 15th!

He definitely looks more dangerous than the Twilight guy (I assume you're talking about the one who played the werewolf). Actually, he looks more dangerous than any guy in the Twilight movies.

Today, I gave you the Circle of Friends award - http://straightfromhel.blogspot.com/2010/01/blogging-awards.html

my brother was all complaining that they, more or less, didn't cast another body builder for the part. I finally had to tell him it's about Conan, and not his muscles.

I'd say the guy looks the part (Momoa, not Leno), though I actually have no idea what we're talking about.

In other news, I agree with you about O'Brian. Classy, and bad job NBC!

Jason Momoa definitely looks the part but the question of acting probably remains. Ronan wasn't the most interesting of characters in Atlantis.
Still, way better than the kid from twilight.

Jason Momoa is perfect as Conan - and sexy to boot! He was my second favorite character on Atlantis (behind Rodney) and it will be great to see him in other roles.

Helen, thanks, and I think Momoa could take the entire Twilight cast!

Falen, I agree. The character just has to be in shape.

And I don't think Arnie was an acting genius when he did Conan!

Thanks everyone!

I'm happy with Momoa as new Conan, hope they will find him some fine lady :) Mickey Rourke has been offered a role of Conan's father.

Marvin, that's awesome! Told you it was kick-butt. Thanks for the mention and I will visit your blog tomorrow.

Dezmond, Rourke sounds perfect for the role. And yes, he'll need a tough but sexy counterpart.
Thanks for following my blog!

I am going to really miss Conan. That was the only show I was watching on NBC...now I'm down to none.

mmmmm, Jason Momoa. *drool*
That's all I have to say about that.

That's another reason NBC sucks.
