Off to check out Jamie's review. I'm sure it's great.

I won't be taking part in this blogfest, because the music I listen to is too weird, and I don't want to make myself look crazy, but I will totally be watching and reading, because I always love the blogfests you plan Alex!

Please tell me that that was computer-graphics, and that someone did NOT just torch a beautiful Les Pual! I'll set to work on that Blogfest, and I haven't done a proper New Years post either.

Kelly Polark said...

Alex, I just don't care for music but I'll do your blogfest anyway. ;)
Congrats on your sequel first draft being done! WOW!!!!!!!!!
And Matthew, you need to do the blogfest so we can see the weird music. I love seeing what everyone's music tastes are and see new musicians that I might not know!

I love blog hop on tunes....I will be coming to see your picks.. I will be picking my top 11 favorite new blogs...but I have no science fiction blogs on the list LOL
happy New year

Tara said...

Congrats on finishing the rough draft! That is awesome!

Well, I signed up. Now I'm biting my nails...it was terrifying to narrow down my fave bands for that blogfest - but fave songs? Whew. I better get thinking!

True Life and Fiction said...

Great idea Alex,
Can I tag along on your blogfest? I will most definitely put up some Rush, Flyleaf, Bif Naked, Evanescence, and even some floyd. Wow, just too much to mention. How will I ever shrink it down to just my ten favorites of all times.

Alex J. Cavanaugh said...

Thanks, Matthew. And I woouldn't worry about weirdness here...

Dezz, no bias, huh?

Thanks, Kitty!

Dempsey, thanks - and these fests are always a blast.

Will, I hope so, because torching a $2000 guitar would be so wrong!

Thanks, Kelly - we'll keep working on Matthew as well.

Thanks, Wasabi!

Congrats!

And, I can't wait for the blogfest! I'll start preparing my list now.

Working on the sequel, huh? How exciting! As for music, I love so many different kinds but my choices, I doubt, would be cool enough for your list. :)

Laura Eno said...

Yay for the sequel!

Happy New Year and congrats on the review!

I love sharing my favorite music with people, so I'm in for the blogfest! And since all my favorite music is stuff I storyline to that makes it perfect :)

Unknown said...

Loved the review. Congratulations!!! And best of luck with the sequel. May you have sales to the stars.

I'd love to do this blog hop, but I have a dumb question...Do I copy the code into the post? Or into another section on my blog like a widget? Sorry to sound so completely clueless, but I've never done this before.

Southpaw said...

Holy Guacamole Alex, congratulations on finishing! I dare day that my music blogfest would go something like this: there a song about rain or water and the beat is something like la-la-la. I’m really horrible at song titles.

Chris Phillips said...

Can't wait for the 24th!!1 (when polka will reign supreme)

Alex J. Cavanaugh said...

Clarissa, cool!

Kelley, no! Please participate. It takes all kind of music.

Sticky, glad you're on board.

Melissa, you can either copy it and past it into your post (or as another gadget in either your sidebar or main posting area) or just sign up and link back to my blog for people to find others participating. Whatever is easiest for you!

Holly, thanks, and you have three whole weeks to work on this. Bet you can remember some titles.

Anonymous said...

I'm in. It'll be a hard choice to narrow the list to ten. Like Chris I love polka and will stick mainly to that. Yodeling music too!

M.J. Fifield said...

I am also in. I love to make such lists.

Congratulations on your review and finishing the sequel's rough draft. I'm looking forward to reading CassaStar this year.

While "Read Cassa Star" didn't make it into my 52 things for the year, I do fully intend to read it soon. I'm excited!

As for this blog hop...I don't know. I really don't think I could narrow it down to just 10 songs I love. That's too hard.

Thanks Summer and Kelly.

Yvonne, did you put your website's address in the correct spot?? I'll sign you up if you can't get it to work.

Karen, that would be great! And I know, could've done a Top 40, but that would've been too long.

Thanks Pat!

Diane, that's good to hear!

Budd, I suckered you in, didn't I?

Matthew - cool! And now I'm intrigued...

Thanks, Colene.
