National Wormhole Day Blogfest!

Hosted by Stephen Tremp, Laura Eno, LG Smith.

What would you do or where would you go if you could traverse a wormhole through space or time just once? One safe round trip passage. In 100 words more or less, what you would do if you had a two-way ticket to traverse a wormhole?

Where would I go? Back thirty years so I could practice with guitar master Joe Satriani and be really good now? (Rock star might be too much.) Back two thousand years and meet Jesus? (Naw, I’ll see him in fifty years or so.) Maybe forward? I know - teleportation! I’ll go forward and bring back a teleporter. Then I can teleport my butt anywhere. Travel the world. Travel the universe. Go to the Pegasus Galaxy and help John Sheppard's team. Avoid the commute to work. I’m sold! The Ninja Captain is now free to move about the galaxy…

Anyone want to go for a ride?

Catch some good news? What’s your favorite animated film quote? Know any of the trivia? And if you could jump in that wormhole, where would you go?

159 comments:

  1. Are you trying to tell me the Ninja Captain doesn't already have the gift of teleportation? Next you'll be telling me the tooth fairy isn't real! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  2. DL's idea sounds great, I'll have to head over there. Love the scarf, having to dig out the warm clothes once more as the unseasonal weather freezes the UK again!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Going forward to find a teleporter is sneaky but brilliant! I like it! As if you didn't already move quickly and stealthily enough!

    ReplyDelete
  4. My favorite animated movie quote, if a Pixar movie can count, is from Toy Story, "Are you mocking me?" Love it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  5. I'd ride with you Alex! Sheena ready to board Ninja Captain.

That scarf is just too cute. I mean ahem, manly. Can't wait to see the little guy in it. Will check out Angela's giveaway and I's probably just bust reality if I went through a wormhole and check out the greek myths myself.

  6. Ha, I love it :)

Mini-Alex is going to need his own Blog :)

I'd transport back to '38 and tell Chamberlain that the piece of paper meant no peace - and get back on the plane, ya plonker.

    ReplyDelete
  7. There's only one place I'd go and that's back. Back to the moment of Cromwells birth, where I'd drown the bugger before his first cry.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'd definitely travel forward. No women's rights in the past so I wouldn't go there.

    ReplyDelete
  9. That scarf is adorable! As for the teleporter - now I'm jealous. I hadn't thought of bringing things through the wormhole. :) I tend to be one step behind.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Teleporting ahead to bring back a teleporter? Hah! Love it!

As for animated quotes... "You know what else everybody likes? Parfaits. Have you ever met a person, you say, "Let's get some parfait," they say, "Hell no, I don't like no parfait"? Parfaits are delicious."

  11. Love the scarf!

    Ahh...getting the teleporter. Good idea!

    ReplyDelete
  12. A cute scarf for junior.

I've thought for a few minutes about where I'd like to go, but nothing seems more interesting than seeing the Battle of Gettysburg.

    ReplyDelete
  13. you went for John Sheppard, I went for Doctor Who. there's never enough adventure but a teleporter or the tardis should solve our constant need of adrenaline and adventure!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Not sure I want to go through a wormhole - I'm happy and busy enough in the here and now.

    ReplyDelete
  15. A wonderful holiday to celebrate. I don't think I could chose one time or place to visit. Is hole hopping an acceptable term?

    ReplyDelete
  16. I love the scarf for Mini-Alex!

#5 is Within Temptation (Yay! I finally got one!)

That's a great idea to grab a teleporter, do you think you could bring more than one back?

    ReplyDelete
  17. I'd probably stand in the mouth of the wormhole and wonder what it would do to me if the thing collapsed.

And mt mind went blurry after I saw pantera on the list. They're all that matters anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Great scarf!

I think maybe I should travel back in time and sign up for the Wormhole Day Blogfest! How could I miss that? It looks like I could still post tomorrow, so I think I will.

    ReplyDelete
  19. A teleporter...xthats smart. Like asking a geniee for unlimited wishes. Nicely done!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Annalisa, I hope you're not crushed!

    LG, need more stealth...

    Elsie, good choice!

Sheena, let's go. And yes, manly scarf.

Mark, don't encourage Mini-Alex like that!

Randi Lee, his whole monologue there was great.

Richard, from a distance I assume?

    Gail, it's a funny one!

Kathy, you got one! And I'm willing to share.

Rusty, knew you'd get that one.

Sandra, it's open for two days - go for it!

    ReplyDelete
  21. The Ninja Captain rocks again... a teleporter??? Genius!

My favorite animated movie quote changes based on my station in life. Since I'm in the middle of revisions, it's Dory's 'Just keep swimming' line from Finding Nemo. I'm repeating it daily.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Some very good topics here Alex. Still can't get the answers to the trivial.....perhaps one day.

    Yvonne.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Love that line from Rango. Hilarious. :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow, mini Alex is getting his own doll clothes? Ha!

And you sneak! Going forward in time to get a teleporter is like wishing for three more wishes. Oh, but wouldn't that be cool to go back in time and learn guitar from some famous musician in their prime? I'd go for that.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ah I don't know any of those five! I need to brush up on my album trivia. As far s my favorite animated movie quote: Does The Grinch count? "Christmas means just a little bit more".

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm impressed that someone could make a scarf that tiny. It's adorable. Mini-Alex is set for CA winters now (if that's all he wears). Come on, over!

    xoRobyn

    ReplyDelete
  27. Mini-Alex is getting pretty darn famous!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I want to teleport too! That sounds awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  29. "Your mother can't be with you anymore" Bambi.

Sniff, sob, bawl eyes out! Sniff!

  30. I just joined the Blog Blitz set up by DL Hammond, sounds like a great idea!

Your choices are good ones for the National Wormhole Blog Hop! Now who would have thought you would choose to find a teleportation device?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Stephen, I was planning ahead.

    Jenn, good one!

LG, with a teleporter, I could go back and learn from the masters. And Mini-Alex is an action figure. I'll just ignore the doll comment.

    Optimistic, good choice.

    Kitty, so sad!

    ReplyDelete
  32. ALEX!

    Computer Animated Film Quote.

    From Madagascar 2:
Alex to Monkey: Slow down! You're gonna kill us! There's got to be another way! Pass it on!
[the monkey chain relays the message up to the plane]
Monkey to Marty: Don't slow down. Kill us. It's the only way. Basset Hound!

    Trivia:
    1. Nope
    2. Soundgarden
    3. Nope
    4. Megadeath?
    5. Nope

Maybe if you had mixed in some Metallica I would have rocked this.

Ninja Alex is on the loose!

    Heather

    ReplyDelete
  33. I could see that teleporter getting you into all sorts of trouble, especially if the wrong people found out you had one.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'd certainly travel with you Alex. I didn't join the bloghop because I would have said back to see who really built Stonehenge and how. What else could I say. Certainly not 100 words

Love the scarf, will keep him warm.

    Don't know your music.

JO ON FOOD, MY TRAVELS AND A SCENT OF CHOCOLATE

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanks so much for mentioning the giveaway, Alex. YAY!!!

I had to laugh at that animated quote. A number of hilarious phrases from Timon and Pumba of The Lion King are flopping about in my head. Just a matter of trying to peg one down lol!

If I could go anywhere in a wormhole? Oh dear...that could be just a tad too dangerous for the world.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Guitar practice with Joe Satriani sounds pretty awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I was thinking you might have a teleporter already, too. I guess the clones just make it seem like you are everywhere at once already. Rango was such a cute movie, love the quote. I can't wait to see mini Alex sporting his stylin' scarf!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Love the mini scarf.

Maybe I'd go into the future so I could come back and warn my grandkids to avoid potential disasters.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'd love to go back and follow Jesus. Oh man. Then come back to this time with all kinds of proof so I could reach the masses before it was too late for them! Then I'd take another trip back to when I was a kid in Florida. My mom and dad and brother would still be alive and I would give them one last kiss and hug. (Of course some day I'll be able to do that, but I would love to do it now.)

    Blog Blitz sounds really great!

Hope the music is good for you, my friend! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. The Pegasus Galaxy is a great choice! I'm doing my wormhole post tomorrow :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. You're right, we'll meet up with Jesus soon enough. But I wouldn't mind having a chat with Peter or Thomas. I can relate to their doubts even in the presence of holiness.

    ReplyDelete
  42. A mini-scarf for mini-Alex? Epic win! :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. I adore Rango, Alex! That's a great line from the movie too. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  44. You're so smart! Going forward and bringing something back. Oh, how I long for a teleporter.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I thought you already had one ? How else do you keep zipping from blog to blog at the speed of light? ;)

Love that mini-scarf, shall wait for the mini-Alex-photoshoot!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Totally dig the mini scarf for mini-Alex. Dang though, I missed the 100 words or less thing. My wormhole post is regular length. I wonder if they'll still let me take my trip...sigh. I really picked a good place.
Don't know any of those songs.

Can I go for a ride with you? Does the Ninja Captain have Byron's special ability? Being cryptic, wouldn't want to spoil that awesome reveal for those who haven't read CassaStar. People: if you haven't read it, get your butt to Amazon and buy it! And CassaStorm. Then you'll be all set for CassaFire in September. I don't usually boss people around (well, yes, I do all the time...) in someone else's comments...but you gotta read these books!

  47. My favorite animated quote is from Syndrome (The Incredibles):

"If everyone is super, then no one is."

I think it explains everything about why the U.S. is the way it is today.

    ReplyDelete
  48. No cars, traffic and trouble finding parking spaces - I'm definitely up for your idea, Alex!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Loving the scarf!

We have a lot of favorite animated quotes but "Megamind" is a movie that seems to get quoted a whole lot over here at the Bird's Nest.

    ReplyDelete
  50. 2 is soundgarden, I believe, and 3 is definitely Pantera

    ReplyDelete
  51. I love the idea of traveling via wormholes - assuming they're stable of course! I'm afraid I don't know any of the album titles :(

As for an animated quote: "No capes!"
    (The Incredibles)

    ReplyDelete
  52. Heather, next time!

    Angela, you're welcome.

    She'll, clones help.

Robyn, even with proof they won't believe,

    Jemi, you got it!

Thanks, Tina! I don't have Byron's ability though.

    Charles, correct!

    ReplyDelete
  53. The scarf looks awesome! What a great quote from Rango!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Love the mini-scarf, how fun is that?

Also love the idea of being able to avoid the commute to work. LOL that's almost the best thing about the teleporter! :D

    ReplyDelete
  55. as great of a post this is and always is... i got stuck on the wormhole thought... i would like to jump back into my old self maybe 30 years with my current memories... and take a left instead of the right...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Those music album titles just tell me how out of touch with music I've been in the past couple decades. I'm still mostly listening to older stuff.

  57. Ha! That's like wishing for more wishes, isn't it? teehee.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I can't believe I only know two of those albums.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I don't know any of those albums. I'm so much better at movie trivia than music trivia.

And I love that quote from Rango.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Right now, if I could jump through a wormhole, I would go someplace the common cold does not exist. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'd go to some tropical paradise type planet for a vacation.

    ReplyDelete
  62. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I don't know, I think it would be really cool to meet Jesus.

    And that scarf is awesome!!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. The teleporter is a great idea, and then you could jam with whichever guitar master you want.

Picture this: suddenly a new face pops up on album covers from the past, and we're hearing about the great Rockin' Alex. It would only cause a minor tremble in the space-time continuum. Hopefully you'd still blog. . .

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'd wormhole my way to Pemberly and see if Mr. Darcy was home. Wait...what do you mean he's not real? Blasphemy!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Teleporter? Heck, I'm still waiting for jet packs!!

We were promised jet packs!! *shakes fist* :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Alex, did you hear about the golfer who fell into a sink hole? I wonder if he thought it was a black hole? Hmm.

Thanks for the Ninja news. Love the scarf. It'll come in handy if you come for a visit. It's snowing here. I know, yuck.

    ReplyDelete
  68. It would be kind of cool to go forward & see if I enjoy any level of literary success. Or maybe go back & suggest to myself that start writing earlier. There are so many possibilities.

    ReplyDelete
  69. This has been such a fun blog hop to read. Some very different contributions.

    ReplyDelete
  70. You're like the person who gets one wish before they're left on an abandoned island and you wish for a canoe to make your way home. A complete genius! A teleporter is a great thing to bring back.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Hi Alex .. Deniz' mini Alex' scarf will be a delight to see - what fun.

I'd like to rise above and see how and why things happened .. so I'd have to go back - but I'd quite like to return to 2013 please! A turn in a teleporter sounds fun ...

    Cheers Hilary

    ReplyDelete
  72. Mini-alex is going to be ab-fab :)

I love this wormhole blogfest. Part of me thinks that I'd like to go forward in time, learn as much as I could in two days and then come back and use that knowledge to help other people.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I don't know any of those bands! *shame face*

My fav quote: 'Uncultured swine' hehehe

    ReplyDelete
  74. Quote - "There's a snake in my boot" Woody from Toy Story, of course.

Absolutely no idea on those Rock Stars

I think I'll give in and join DL's Blog Blitz, he hasn't steered me wrong yet.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Julie, it is!

    Jeremy, at left at Albuquerque?

Matthew, they were all big albums.

Jay, I get that teleporter, I can still meet Him.

    DG, the blogging wouldn't change.

    Joylene, funny!

    Roe, thank you!

    Faraway, good one.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Is that your final answer Alex? Make sure you don't change your mind too much and miss your round trip ride! :)

I do like your final answer. Just make sure you plant a little bit of yourself - you know, a strand of hair, a baby photo, or a set of your dentures - every place you visit.

    ReplyDelete
  77. How do you pick a favorite quote?
    I have no idea.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Great idea about the teleporter! Glad you're planning on sticking around here for awhile as we would miss you too much. Very clever quote!

    Julie

    ReplyDelete
  79. Finding a teleporter somewhere in the future and bringing it back through the wormhole- fabulous idea!
I LOVE Rango- so many great quotes in that movie (plus it's just so dang cute!).

    ReplyDelete
  80. Love the scarf, can't wait to see the picture of little Alex wearing it. As far as where to go if you could go anywhere, I couldn't even begin to pick.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Mini-alex is like Flat Stanley. Maybe he should have his own series!

I'd go into the future. I'd be curious to see what the world will be like in a couple hundred years.

    ReplyDelete
  82. You're like the guy who wishes for more wishes. Rule bender...I admire that.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Teleportation!!! - that's what I need from the future - that would be awesome!
I forgot the quote again . . . shucks. Hmm. One of my favorites . . . "Panda, we do not wash our pits in the Pool of Sacred Tears." Shifu speaking to Po in Kung Fu Panda.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I honestly haven't a clue where I'd go, Alex. Are there places or people I'd like to revisit? sure. Things in the universe I'd like to visit if I were able to do so safely? Absolutely. The wonders of the universe are phenomenal.

Okay, quotes...One that comes to mind is from Mulan--yes, I loved the film, lol! Mushu says, "I'm doomed and all 'cause Miss Man decides to take her little drag show on the road." The other one, from the same movie, Yao: "I'll get that arrow, pretty boy...AND I'll do it with my shirt on"

I'm getting interviewed by Tawny Weber on Romance Bandits tomorrow. Pretty cool. I don't get asked to do that very often. :-)

  85. Nancy, I'll leave a clone behind.

Andrew, usually the first one that comes to mind.

Sherry, that would be funny if he did!

    Elizabeth, my one rebellious streak...

    Tyrean, good one!

Sia, and I am looking forward to reading your interview!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Happy National Wormhole Day! I'd travel too. See all the wonders of the universe. Love Angela's idea of reviewer's appreciation.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Love that movie quote. have no idea about any of the album titles. Great scarf and very sweet to send it to you. I would love to go back in time and see my grandparents when they were young and even my dad and mom(although she was in Germany and he was in Canada). Knowing me I would swat some bug and turn the world on its axis like Homer Simpson did:)

    ReplyDelete
  88. Stopped in with Angela and will check out DL's group. Cool movie quote.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yes, DL Hammons of Cruising Altitude presents an interesting Blog Blitz

    ReplyDelete
  90. "Just keep swimming." ~ Dory FINDING NEMO. Best quote ever.

  92. I'm sorry, but you must have some kind of teleporter/time travel thingy already otherwise how the hell do you manage the commenting and general blogging awesomeness?

Cute scarf. Look forward to the piccies of Mini-Alex.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I love that quote! And am totally failing on the album titles. *sigh*

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thank you for the shout out Alex! The BLITZ is up to 56 members and climbing quickly! :)

    ReplyDelete
  98. Bravo! I think you've come up with the perfect wormhole solution.

(But if I were going to go back to play guitar with anyone, it would either be Hendrix or Segovia... or better yet, both! At the same time. Hey, it's my darned fantasy...)

    ReplyDelete
  99. I would use my wormhole to jump to the prehistoric era and see some dinosaurs.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Of course, a teleporter! That's why you're the Ninja Captain.

And now we know what to ask for next Christmas.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Optimistic, thanks!

    Birgit, don't do that!

    RaShelle, almost used that one.

Claire, that's what the clones are for.

    Gary - funny!

    DL, that's awesome.

Susan, you play with whomever you like - it is your fantasy.

    Kym-n-Mark, either that or clones.

    ReplyDelete
  102. There's too many places to choose from from one wormhole trip! I'd be *that guy* that tears a hole in the fabric of space-time to try to squeeze out a second trip. Maybe I could grab a bite at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I'd go to the Old Country and visit my Hungarian grandmother's farm, back when she use to travel from village to village to sing. But I'd also want to bake with her and her mother.

Very cool about the mini Alex scarf. Looking forward to seeing a picture.

    Cheers and boogie boogie.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Teleportation huh? Well, when you get it working, let me know. I'd sure LOVE to zap those driving trips from Kentucky to Texas to visit the inlaws. Driving 16-20 hours with a spouse, 3 kids and multiple pets? Ewwww....

    ReplyDelete
  105. A teleportation device would be awesome. Great choice!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'd definitely book a wormhole experience if I could get to Australia and New Zealand without that terribly long flight.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Hehehe. Love that quote from Rango!

    National Wormhole Day? Cool!!!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Thanks for posting about all the giveaways and links.

I would definitely go forward and see where I end up!

    ReplyDelete
  109. That scarf is adorable!

I think I would go into the future, at least a thousand years.

And the second album is Soundgarden.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Teleportation: definitely a winner for me. I agree. Traveling takes too much time; I can't wait for someone to invent a teleportation device already. :)

    ReplyDelete
  111. Whisk, that sounds cool.

    LuAnn, that sounds awful.

    Diane, you are correct.

Poisoned, as long as we all don't turn into the Fly.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I want to know how tiny that tiny little scarf is! hehe

Great idea for bringing back a teleporter! Lately I've really wanted one of those, like when I'm stuck in crowds after music festivals and so on.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I think you would have been really great hanging with Joe S. and jammin'. He's amazing.

Number 2 is Soundgarden, 3 is PANTERA, and 4 I think is Megadeth.

Sure glad I managed to get by here today...I feel like I have missed so much on your site!

    ReplyDelete
  114. I like all of your ideas with the Teleporter. I think Forward might be hard to take in. We THINK we know what the future will look like but what if we are wrong? That could be very scary. I think I would rather go back and be here during the time that Jesus was alive. That would be Outstanding. Talk about having Blog Material. Woohoo. All those books in the Bible are translated. I would actually have the only NO NEED FOR TRANSLATION version of what Jesus actually said. It really doesn't get better that!!!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Love reading what everyone would do with a wormhole! I asked my students today and they had me cracking up!!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I thought that The Ninja Captain already had the gift of Teleportation (really disappointed). I will hitch a ride with you while you travel everywhere (atleast you will be assured of good company ;)

    ReplyDelete
  117. Love that scarf! Deniz is so incredibly talented and Mini Alex is going to look like one sharp dressed ninja in that.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Great choices Alex!

You have been around to two different worlds already with me... REMEMBER? LOL.

I guess you should give other bloggers the chance for a ride with the Ninja captain. I had two FANTASTIC adventures with you!

    ReplyDelete
  119. I don't remember that quote from Rango (I think I watched the movie in bits) but it's funny!

    ReplyDelete
  120. Favourite animated film quote? Dang, that's a tough one. I'd go for The Emperor's New Groove:

    "Beware the Grooooooooove"

    ReplyDelete
  121. I've already signed up for the Blog Blitz! It's an awesome initiative!
I've also jumped into that wormhole...

  123. Trisha, we'll all soon find out.

    Chuck, you are correct!

Robin, you'd have the original source material. And blog material - funny!

    Jamie, clever to ask them.

    Rachna, just clones.

    Melissa, he will look sharp.

Michael, you should continue that series. Oh the places we could go...

Rachel, it's in the beginning, with the armadillo.

    Jamie, funny line!

Tara, just like in my books, I have no idea how it works.

  124. I'm sure Mini-Alex is rocking it in his new scarf! Too cute. (:

  125. I'd go into the future where everyone is morbidly obese, connected to their cellphone 24/7, and shut off from one another completely, use it as a wake up call, then come home and enjoy life and the outdoors more. Oh, and sadly, I'd probably only have to go 50 years into the future to see this.

  126. I love the quote from Rango. Don't know any of the trivia (does that age me?) As for wormhole travel... Is there a time and place on earth without wars and murder? That's where I'd like to go. Oh yeah... I'd have to go back to Eden.

  127. Teleporter? I have been wanting one of those toys my whole life. Of course being a dragon, it wouldn't be so easy to travel everywhere but then probably I could find the store where invisibility cloaks are sold. Maybe across the streets from the Teleporter Radio Shack. Then we're all set!

  128. Deniz is good people! Mini-Alex is going to be styling. :-)

  129. Here's to Angela. She's on my blog today, as you know. Isn't she the happiest person you've met?

As to the wormhole . . . I'd go back and have some time with my grandmother. She had so much to share with me when I was young. I should have listened more carefully!

  130. Bryan and Brandon, you might not have to go that far to find such a WALL-E world.

Bish, that's about the only place, unless you want to go to the future earth after Revelations.

    Al, you would be invincible!

Lee, she's always happy and positive!

  131. I wanna go help John Sheppard ;D lol

I love Mini Alex's scarf, soon he will need a swimming suit!

Yes, Ninja's need a lot of air space to kick around~

  132. I'll go for a ride with you! Before I do I have to go back in time to check my roots - am I part of an alien?

    Evalina, This and that...

  133. I'll take the fast-forward ticket in the worm hole! I would like to see what my grandkids will be in their forties. All the angst and struggles of early years will be over, and they would be hopefully adults with perspective.

Cartoon quote: Spear and magic helmet!

  134. Very cool, love going through time to play guitar! Also, I cracked up on the Jesus joke (50 years from now indeed) :)

  135. I'd want to go into the future in the wormhole. As much as I'd love to change some past events, that would mean I'd no longer be able to write books featuring those events and their consequences! I'd like to see if we'll have space colonies and a terraformed Moon and Mars by the year 3000. It would also be interesting to see what happens to Planet Earth when the Sun becomes a Red Giant, though it would be really depressing if I found out the planet meets a fiery death and humanity doesn't escape into space.

  136. Ella, if Mini-Alex is like me, then the poor dude is white as a sheet under his Ninja clothes!

Mark, I'm counting on my life only being half over.

A thousand years is a big jump, Carrie-Anne.

  137. Not sure where I'd go in a wormhole, maybe to the wild west and spend the day at the Ponderosa Ranch! Or to 100 years into the future to see what I'm going to miss.

  138. By the way I saw your Tweet last night about Google Reader. Would you care to address this is in your next post for those of us who aren't really sure what this means for our blogs? :) I have tried to research it and I am very confused lol.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Yes! This is an excellent way to use a wormhole. :D

  140. I have always wanted to teleport- so I LOVE your idea. Think of all the time it would save. :)

    Awesome Ninja News!

  141. I'm such a history nerd, I'd want to travel like crazy. I think meeting Shakespeare would be on the top of my list. And I wish I could remember some animated movie quotes to tell you, but today I'm so tired my brain is like a sieve.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Yes, yes, John Shepherd. I so miss that show and the Pegasus galaxy.

  143. I wish teleportation happened now.

    I joined the Blog Blitz.

  144. My favorite animated movie quote, if a Pixar movie can count, is from Toy Story, "Are you mocking me?" Love it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  145. OK, I gotta say, I love that quote too!

    ReplyDelete
  146. This is a tough answer, since I'm maybe one of the few folks who just wouldn't leave this day and time if you paid me! If I HAD to time travel (the prospect makes me nervous!), I think I'd want to live a day in the 1950's, just for the contrast.

    ReplyDelete
  147. The idea of going back into time is so tempting...I know so much now I didn't know back then. But all the lessons I learned back then brought me to where I am today.

    ReplyDelete
  148. Though I only live a mile from work, it would still be nice to skip the commute. Please share your knowledge :)

    ReplyDelete
  149. Go Angela. I hope I'm not too late for that.

That scarf is so flipp'n cute!

  150. 2. Superunknown is Soundgarden

    ...that's all I've got :)

Also, you are a genius with the teleporter thing. I tip my invisible hat to you, Mr. Ninja.

  151. Optimistic, mentioned it Friday and will do full update on Monday.

    Jess, exactly!

Susan, one of the best shows ever.

    Laurie, awesome!

Colby, if not for the teleporter, I wouldn't want to go forward and leave now either.

    Lynn, I will!

Samantha, you got it! And thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Happy to do it! Thanks for the lovely comments all :-)

Slightly embarrassed that I could only name one of the bands... (It was Megadeth) Off to check out who the others were!

    ReplyDelete
  153. No wait - I know the Soundgarden one too. The others, not so much...

  154. A teleporter would help me get to work on time :)

    .......dhole

  155. Teleporter! Sounds way cool. Have fun exploring.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Deniz, got two!

Donna, a teleporter would keep me from wanting to kill other commuters on the way to work.
