Birthright by Lynda R. Young
Christa can mask the pain and hide the scars, but running from a birthright is impossible.
She’s tried to escape her grief by fleeing to a small town in Florida. Much to her frustration, the locals think they recognize her even though she's never been there before. To make things worse, a man named Jack spouts outrageous theories about her.
Both spur Christa to bolt, to start fresh yet again, but there’s something about Jack that intrigues her enough to stay. The only problem? Someone else wants her to leave, and they won’t stop until she’s dead.

We are to answer these questions or David Spade loses his Christmas bonus:
1. How many speeding tickets have you gotten? Two. I’ve been REALLY lucky!
2. Can you pitch a tent? Is that like pitching a story? No? Then no would be my answer.
3. What was your worst vacation ever? Anything involving the woods and tents. That’s what four-star hotels are for.
4. What was the last thing you bought over $100? You really want to know? Splurged this past weekend and purchased a Gibson Les Paul guitar. Yeah, just a little over $100…
6. What was the last meal cooked that made even you sick? Twenty-five years ago – it involved Tuna Helper. I’ll never touch the stuff again.
7. Fill in the blank: Oh my gosh! Becky, look at her butt! It is so big. She looks like John Goodman in a bikini!
8. What was your first car? A two-door Ford something. One of those crap cars you drive when you’re sixteen.
9. Your best friend falls and gets hurt. Do you ask if he/she's okay or laugh first? My best friend is my wife – if I laugh, I’ll never be allowed in the house again!
10. What's the worst song ever? Wham’s Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. No explanation needed.
Visit Emily or Tammy for a list of participants or to join us.
Did you finally see the article at Curiosity Quills? Ready for Wednesday’s IWSG? Picking up either Lynda or Angela’s books? And you are…?
John Goodman in a bikini - love it!
ReplyDeleteWorse than Last Christmas? Compared to that Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go feels like a rock anthem.

Looking *so* forward to next Monday :)
I really enjoyed Make Believe. I would recommend it.
ReplyDeleteWake me up before you Go Go, cos I'm not planning on going solo. Yep. A bad, bad song.
ReplyDeleteJohn Goodman in a bikini. Too funny!
Any George Micheal song goes down in my estimation, my daughter when at school played his songs none stop and pictures everywhere.
ReplyDeleteOn the otherhand I can't really complain as my liking for a certain Irish man.
Looking forward to the blogfest.
Yvonne.
Yay for Lynda and Angela and everyone else! I love all the good news you always have on your blog, Alex.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading that part about your wife, I'd say you're a wise man ;)
ReplyDeleteFun learning more about you. Awesome you bought a guitar.
ReplyDeleteFor the rest of the day, I will now have the earworm known as Wake Me Up Before You Go Go in my head. Thank you. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWill definitely check out CHASTE and the FRACTURED FAIRY TALES! Both sound great!
Sorry - gotta agree with those who have thought of worse songs than that Wham song ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are a busy man aren't you? Yikes!
Capn Ninja!!!! I LOVED Wake me up before you Go-Go!! Yes I did!!! Choose Life t-shirts and leg warmers too! How could you!?!? LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHoorah for Lynda and Angela!! Take care
x
An informative post on the IWSG, Alex.
ReplyDeleteI'm anxiously awaiting next week when the Ninja dies. Will be spectacular.
Congrats to Michael Abayomi and wishing him much success with his new book.
Cheers to the contributors of Open Doors: Fractured Fairy Tales. Donating some of profits to charity is just amazing.
Will check out Chris Sarandon's interview.
Congratulation to Marta Szemik on the release of Evil-Bent.
Congrats on your short story, Lynda.
Congrats to Angela Felsted!
Cheers to Emily R King and Tammy Theriault on the “And You Are…?” Blogfest!
Ooh have fun with your new guitar. When do we get to hear you play?
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the talented ninjas!
Oh, my goodness. That WHAM! song. Yes, it was awful and you absolutely *couldn't* escape it at the time. I dive for the radio controls whenever it comes on, these days....
ReplyDeleteYou're funny, and a very good husband. Me? Unless there blood or broken bones, I laugh when someone falls.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to new books and new stories! Lots of them. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're a wise man. Never laugh at your wife, only with her.
Going over to Curiosity Quills after here.
To roast! To roast! It should be a battlecry...
Mark, good thing you added the disclaimer.
ReplyDeleteEllie, it is!
T, not messing up that deal!
Liz, I'm really, really sorry...
Peaches, I'm sure my death will be spectacular...
Kathy, whoever wins the blogfest will hear me play!
Elizabeth, you remember the pain!
Loved the David Spade style blogfest! Super cute and fun!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lynda! How exciting!!! The cover art is amazing!
Wow - there's so much going on! Thanks for the update. And enjoy that guitar!!!
ReplyDeleteHoly doodles! You're like a walking-talking internet programme, the social media equivalent of Who's On First!
ReplyDeleteLove hearing about all the books being published-- thanks for the thorough updates, Alex.
ReplyDeleteLol, great answers! But, while that is a bad song, Toby Kieth's Every Dog has its Day is the worst song ever. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your guitar!
:P Really? I love that song....just kidding......Thanks for the shout out.
ReplyDeleteOkay, that is a bad song.
ReplyDeleteI loved Chris Sarandon in Fright Night. He was a sexy vampire.
John Goodman in a bikini! *snort*
ReplyDeleteYay Lynda and Angela! Two great ladies.
I missed the news about the blogfest. Gotta go check it out.
One of my (They're my kids unless they do something wrong. When they behave badly, they belong to the hubby) boys is a very talented musician. He plays guitar, banjo, and some piano. My daughter Ivy plays violin, mandolin, and guitar. Music reaches waaay down. I bet your guitar is bodacious. (A little over a hundred. Yep.) *ahem*
Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go spells YUCK! Bleh.
Yay for Lynda and Angela. It's a great debut Monday.
ReplyDeleteAnd Wham actually has an even more annoying song called Last Christmas. Seasonal misery, if you want to give it a listen. :P
Good answers Alex. Haven't time right now to do these blog fests.
ReplyDeleteLydia's book looks incredible. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteI think the Alexfest is gonna be fun. Can't wait.
Only two speeding tickets? I have a feeling with a Bugatti Veyron, that number would go up. :D
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats to the folks with books out, so far the ones I've seen have all sounded really interesting. (:
I'm sorry to all the Tuna Helper lovers out there, but yuck. :)
ReplyDeleteTuna Helper? LOL! I can honestly ay I've never had it. So thankful for that after reading this.
ReplyDeleteWHAM! "Cause I'm not planning on going solo." Yeah, that one was pretty bad.
I'm so ready for IWSG!
I got shudders when you mentioned "wham." Egads.
ReplyDeleteLaura, thanks! Don't incite the masses.
ReplyDeleteSusan, it is AWESOME!!!
Siv, you're welcome.
Robyn, glad I could make you snort. And yes, the guitar is awesome!
LG, think I will just avoid that one.
Jay, it will be something.
Elise, I probably wouldn't care, either.
Suzi, agreed!
The crap car I drove when I was sixteen was my mother's station wagon. I was the coolest kid in school... Oh wait. No I wasn't.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the authors with new books out. Best of luck with them!
A new guitar? Nice way to spend your money :) Nice car. And tuna helper? ick! Glad you learned your lesson ;)
ReplyDeleteLove all the good and happy news this Monday! I did get over to Quills last week and enjoyed the post. Thanks a bunch!
ReplyDeleteOh, loved seeing your answers to "And You Are ...?" blogfest. Nice to know you a little more ;)
ReplyDeleteHa! Love your answers :) And wow! A guitar for a little over $100? That's a good deal! Completely agree about tuna helper, mine was tuna casserole. Same thing really. ick.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for posting the anthology.
ReplyDeleteNice choice on the guitar. As for the key question, yours is a good choice. I think I want to try a Tesla Roadster. Or a Lotus Eterne. Or...
Wow, so many books out today! I have to go buy three! Well, I'm so happy for them and can't wait to get reading.
ReplyDeleteMy parents never even let me drive my first car. It sat next to our house unmoving for over a year until someone offered to buy it.
ReplyDeleteYay! I made it without crashing.
ReplyDeleteNow, c'mon Alex, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is a GREAT song! It's one of those songs that just sticks in your head for DAYS it's just so fab !!!
(Kidding.)
You need to post a youtube video of your guitar playing, Alex. I'd love to hear it. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Alex - as Clarissa says .. so many good books. Then that guitar .. and you really do crave a Bugatti .. one day - if you save your $100s!!
ReplyDeleteCheers Hilary
Just thrilled for Lynda and Angela!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement: four-star hotels are for me...five-star even better.
That car is AH-MAZING!
ReplyDeleteAnd completely OT - Hannah is back in the blogging world (since i know you ask about her occasionally)
The Write Mood
Alex, we could definitely hang out. Our answers are very similar, crazy! Thanks for participating! We should race our Veyrons. I drool all over them every time they're on Top Gear (UK version, of course.)
ReplyDeleteSo much good stuff going on! I'm so excited for all our friends getting into these anthologies!
ReplyDeleteAnd love your camping answers *snort* I've done enough of it I can do the tent thing, but I definitely prefer something a little less work for vacation.
Loved And You Are? I will have to borrow it!! I'm ready for IWSG, it's going to be a good week Alex! I'm headed to Italy!! Woo!
ReplyDeleteread your cq article, so glad to be part of it all! thanks for coming up w/it!
ReplyDeletethere's a bugatti in my book! and emily said the same thing!
congrats to all the new releases, saw a couple more in addition to these! big release day!
Thanks for the updates, Alex! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI never get tired of looking at Lynda's cover. It's simply stunning. Yes, another Wednesday is coming up. Yay. I love my ISWG. I have a guest on Wednesday that I hope readers find encouraging. Then it's time to roast a Ninja on the 10th! I've never roasted a Ninja b4. This should be fun!!!
ReplyDeleteThe blogfest should be fun! I saw the Curiosity Quills post on Fri afternoon. THought it was very well-written. Congrats on that, Alex. I really enjoyed the Chris Sarandon interview as well! :D Cheers! It's Monday!
ReplyDeleteLoved the answers especially the worst song pick. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteMJ, that made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteJA, it really was a practical buy. Really!
Marcy, it was a whole digit more over $100!
Joshua, or all of the above?
Andrew, that is really sad.
Anne, glad I made it easier for you! And glad you were kidding.
Angela, whoever wins that blogfest will at least get to hear me play.
Sarah, that's great to hear!!!
Emily, we almost had the same post. And yes, UK Top Gear. The American version sucks.
Hildie, that sounds fun!
Tara, we need a fleet of Bugattis...
Joylene, we taste like chicken.
Thanks, Liesel!
I would laugh :) THEN I would help my friend up. Hhehehee.
ReplyDeleteJohn Goodman in a bikini! Oh my gosh, I need to cleanse my brain from that picture now!
ReplyDeleteAnd finally someone chooses a song I love as a song they hate! :D I do love it because it is so cheesy though :D Oh those days when girls thought that George Michael was straight!
Congratulations to everyone with new releases!
ReplyDeleteOoh, a guitar is never a bad thing to buy...
Wonderful post. I wished I had thought about my car choice a little longer . . and John Goodman in a bikini - I'm not sure whether to scream or laugh really hard or both.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lynda an Angela!
Your dream car looks something like my brother's. Fast, sporty looking. If he gets one someday I'm sneaking a ride with him.
ReplyDeleteThe end date for my book, that is what you meant, right? It is the 14th of this month. Which feels far too close for everything I need to do right now. *Smirk*
Great answers all around. Wham!
ReplyDeleteAnd there is tons going on. I stay impressed that you keep up so well.
Yes, yes, yes! Congrats to all! Love the blogfest. Wish I could've done it but I already have 2 posts today, a first for me, I think. I would like to say though that my first car was a '69 GTO. Loved that car!
ReplyDeleteMichael sure is prolific. Then again so are you. Five books would take me ten years to write. I guess I'll never be a "real" writer cause I'm just too dang slow. Ah well. I'm happy blogging.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the Gibson guitar. Any chance you'd record a snippet for us and allow us to hear you play some?
Some really great news! Will definitely check out the book suggestions! Your list was hilarious! And eww on #7 John Goodman in a bikini- uh no! That rates up there with a story I read about Prince Charles being asked to pose in a speedo- no thanks. :) I agree with your answer on #10 Def enjoyed your posting today!
ReplyDeleteTuna Helper???? Ewwwwwww... the thought makes me nauseous.. !!!!!! And LOL to the "Is that like pitching a story?" Writer humor. Love it. :D
ReplyDeleteHaha I love your worst vacation answer. My thoughts exactly!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your tribute/roast, you definitely deserve it!
I liked your answer to #9. You are a smart, smart man. And John Goodman in a bikini...ew. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the authors with releases! And you can't pitch a tent? I somehow had you pegged for a camping sort of guy. I must have made that up. :)
ReplyDeleteSylvia, that made me laugh! How wrong you ladies were.
ReplyDeleteDeniz, no it's not!
Jack, noted! Didn't want to miss it.
Karen, sorry you are sick!
Rusty, takes clones...
Michael, the winner of the blogfest will hear it!
Gossip Girl, that's even worse!
Morgan, amazing I still like tuna.
Congrats to all the new releases!!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's a good answer about your best friend falling. I don't think wives would like to be laughed at.
Number 7 is also kinda scary.
Tuna helper can be really scary stuff! LOL!
ReplyDelete"John Goodman in a bikini!" Snort.
ReplyDeleteAnd you know I'm going to have that song in my head ALL day!
Yay for Lynda and Angela! I know I can't wait to get my cookie recipe for the swap! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat. Now I'll have that Wham song in my head.
ReplyDeleteI have evolved too. Forget the tents and give me a roof; I'll even take a one star hotel over fabric as lodging.
ReplyDeleteJohn Goodman...excellent!
I'm not sure I can speak to you again because now I will be spending the REST of the DAY singing "Wake me up before you go go!" It's even worse than It's a Small World!
ReplyDeleteBikinis rule... i see goodman being a delight...
ReplyDeletethank you for the shout-out, there will be good things in your christmas stocking this year for sure... i asked santa to send you kate b... we will see.
thanks again!!
jeremy
IWSG time again? Where'd last month go?
ReplyDeletearavilloso the purpose of Insecure Writer Support Group
ReplyDeleteThe Alex fest is going to be fun. And since suffering builds character, think just how more of a character you are going to be afterwards? "-)
ReplyDeleteHa...Goodman in a Bikini now I'll have that image for a while. Not a good thing. =)
ReplyDeleteI love Chris Sarandon!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with the "roast" fest. ;)
Congrats to Lynda and Angela!
Brinda, I hate the great outdoors! I go outside, that only means I have yard work to do...
ReplyDeleteCarol and Lydia, I'm really sorry about that...
Johanna, touche! Crap, now THAT song will be stuck in my head...
Jeremy, you're welcome, and I'll be watching for Kate...
Roland, they will be geniuses...
Laura, I hope I survive.
I feel the same way about the woods and tents :) I'm really curious about the Tuna Helper meal now.
ReplyDeleteYou got a Gibson Les Paul for just over $100? Lucky dog.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from "And You Are ...?"
See ya round my Countdown to Kitschmas!
Now I'll have the image of John Goodman in a bikini in my head all day, lol
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all on the releases!
But camping is WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am so with you on the Tuna Helper. It is disgusting in all its incarnations.
I have nightmares about John Goodman in a bikini.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the image of John Goodman in a bikini. I'll never get that image out of my head!
ReplyDeleteAlex, stopping by from Leigh's page. hi I'm Rachel :)
ReplyDeleteAngela's book sounds gooood! I'm going to see if I can order it.
I love the "John Goodman in a bikini" - too funny!!!!
I must say I love Wake me Up Before You Go-Go. Even if it is ridiculous. And silly. And sometimes wayyy annoying.
Fun blog hop. But as a Bertha Butt, I'm sensitive to the big butt question.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the Ninja blush.
Finally got round to signing up for ISWG. This week will be my first post although I have been following for a while and commenting on others. Looking forward to the blogfest!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the day you die. ...that came out wrong...
ReplyDeleteBella, it was ten times as bad the second time, let's just put it that way.
ReplyDeleteTami, no, it was A LOT more.
PTM, sounds like a blog post...
Rachel, sorry, lead singer ruins it for me.
Donna, but I like big butts!
Suzanne, glad you joined us!
Allison - funny!
I really enjoyed my first stab at IWSG last month. Looking forward the next installment this Wed. Thanks for starting this awesome group!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the new releases! And loved your answers. John Goodman in a bikini, ha ha ha. Loved the answer to #9 too! :D
ReplyDeleteHi, Alex! I can see your blush from here about the blogfest. But what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteLoved hearing about the inception of IWSG. I think I'm going to write about impatience this month.
All warmed up and ready for your blogfest roast. Bet you can't wait!
ReplyDeleteHere's to Lynda and Angela. May there be much more of their work out there.
Glad your wife is your best friend. Those marriages are the most successful. Congratulations.
Oh my gosh, my mind went somewhere totally different for that 'pitch a tent' question!
ReplyDeleteAnd my hubby would totally laugh at me. Then while I was down on the ground, I'd kick his shin or something. That's what best friends do, right? ;)
So many kudos and congrats to dole out (and things to add to an epic fantasy lover's TBR pile!) and places to visit... (Already read the Curiosity Quills post. Nice job!)
ReplyDeleteOh, it was probably the tuna rather than the helper. Just sayin'.
I'm always interested to learn more about people. I love that your wife is your best friend! Now that is a rock hard relationship you have there!
ReplyDeleteBoth books sound awesome...I'll be checking those out. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on the Les Paul! that's a nice guitar!!
Wham! definitely weren't on the level of Mozart, but as an Eighties kid, I kind of like their music. The one song I could never stand was "You Were on My Mind," by some oldies one-hit wonder group, We Five.
ReplyDeleteI think I dropped the ball on a blog fest or two this week. Sick kid...nothing to be done about it.
ReplyDeleteI read your article at Curiosity Quills.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing to see what happened since August 2011!
Chaste sounds awesome and I have to admit to quite liking Wake Me Up... Please don't think less of me! :-)
ReplyDeleteCamille, thanks for joining us!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, sounds good!
Lee, thanks, and I can wait.
Cassie, not this dude!
Jeff, no, it was definitely the Helper.
Tamara, it is AWESOME!
Tonja, no worries.
Edi, thanks, and amazing things have happened.
Oh, Cally...
I've never had the nerve to even try Tuna Helper *shudder* - and I can pitch a tent! :)
ReplyDeleteI bet that guitar was just a tad more... :) Enjoy it!
Congratulations Michael, Siv, Roland, Marta, Lynda, and Angela! I'm so happy to be part of a community where there's something new to celebrate each week. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you Alex! You are so awesome for posting up details on Make Believe. Again THANK YOU!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI liking these And you are... posts. Some great questions.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for IWSG, early for me.
Can't wait for the roast, I mean celebration of the ninja next week.
Awesome answers, Alex! Thanks for the news round-up and the intros to Make Believe and Chaste.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the news on these good new books and stories. So much to read!
ReplyDeleteAnd sorry, David Spade, but "You Light Up My Life" is the worst song ever written -- not the words so much as that awful funeral dirge-sounding melody.
As always, lots of news and fun information. Thanks, Alex!
ReplyDeleteMonti
Congratulations to Lynda Young and everyone else with the new releases! Yay for Alex's blog fest :-)
ReplyDeleteOMG, we are vacations twins. Tents? Woods? No thanks! Congrats to these talented writers!!
ReplyDeleteI agree about that song "Wake me up before you go..go"..Yuck!
ReplyDeleteI also prefer 4 star hotels.
Ooh, Veyron! Heck yes!! Although I fear the closest I will get to one is the one I bought on Gran Turismo.
ReplyDeleteMinor trivia fact- Les Paul comes from the city in Wisconsin that I grew up in, and that's Waukesha. (They're very proud of him). And ditto for the two-door ford car that barely worked, that was my first car too.
ReplyDeleteImagine - Wham! New follower. Please consider following me.
ReplyDeleteJava With Jambor
Jemi, a lot more!
ReplyDeleteLynda, you are most welcome!
Susan, you're going to fry me, aren't you?
Helena, good choice for awful song.
Saumya, not a chance!!
Cindy, you are classy!
Rose, I saw a special on him - the dude knew his guitars.
There are some great releases. I can't wait to read a few more books. I'm considering how to handle this weeks IWSG. I'm hoping to make a special offer to fellow writers, we'll see if it works out. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Angela! Great answers for today's blogfest Alex
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new guitar!
Julie
Only 2 speeding tickets? I've gotten a few more than that, but I guess that's not too unusual considering all the years I spent on the road. I've done a lot of driving and was often anxious to get to my destination.

Gibson Les Paul guitar? Nice choice! Goodman in a bikini is a scary visual Alex. Why did you put it in my head? Why?!
ReplyDeleteI'm featuring Angela DURING my IWSG post, how about that?
ReplyDeleteRegarding your answer to #10 - really Alex, really? You say this right before you KNOW I'm going to be posting all about you on Monday? Reaaaaaaally?
I live in Les Pauls' hometown. ;) Did I jump just a little on the 'cool' factor? :)
ReplyDeleteJohn Goodman in a bikini––bahahaha. It would be even better if he danced to Wham while wearing the bikini... and having a harmless gasoline fight at a filling station.
ReplyDeletehttp://joycelansky.blogspot.com
Lots of news as usual!! What fun answers to the blogfest. Enjoy that guitar! And what a sweet answer about your wife being your best friend :)
ReplyDeleteHi Alex. Thanks for the roundup! :D
ReplyDeleteLMAO! Those answers for Tuna Helper and Wham. Geez they are terrible. Though I happen to think that worst song belongs to anything by Toby Keith.
ReplyDeleteOh come on, you don't like Wham? LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove your answers in this bloghop. Sorry about your tuna helper and I'll let you in my imaginary castle if you let me be a passenger in your cool imaginary car. And thanks for all the news. You really keep us both entertained and informed.
ReplyDeletejust had bad image of john goodman...wow...please erase please erase!! thanks for participating alex!
ReplyDeleteAt least you're honest on question number 9 hahaha!
ReplyDeleteAnd I have to add The Safety Dance at least to the Top Ten of worst songs and videos of all time.
Oh my, your imagery of John Goodman in a bikini is stuck in my head. Ack!
ReplyDeleteWow, tons of news. Congrats to everyone on their releases!
And Chris Sarandon? Awesome! I missed that.
Shannon at The Warrior Muse
Buy yourself an expensive new toy and you just gotta share how you put it to use. The blogfest seems a good time for your musical debut . . .
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the tent thing.
.....dhole
John Goodman in a bikini...not a pretty picture (I imagine).
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm way jealous that you have Les Paul!
I am excited for Lynda. John Goodman in a bikini...not a nice picture ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that your wife is your best friend. I had fun with the And you are . . . glad you did too. As for John Goodman in a bikini . . .clever answer.
ReplyDeleteI love that your best friend is your wife...I'd still laugh! Best friends can take it.
ReplyDeleteLots of stuff always going on over here. So much chewing gum for the brain.
Interesting answers, that car looks fantastic! 2 speeding tickets? I have had 2 in the last 5 years and before that I would have had 20 years without one, but when I was younger I got a few.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all those with new releases! All the best!
Ciara, that sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteLee, it is a miracle.
Maurice, sorry!!!!
Micki, that is cool, and come on, you'll get over it.
Kelly, yes!!!
Joyce, now that's a scary sight.
Melissa, he's not good either.
Sheena-kay, I shall drive you to your castle!
Tammy, mental soap - quick!
Donna, that's the idea! And tents - no way.
ML, once I helped her up, I'd at least grin.
Who is this John Goodman dude?
ReplyDeleteI love Wham! Choose Life t-shirts... who can forget them?
I can do without the flies, mosquitoes and other unnamed creepy crawlies that accompany tent-life... not for me thanks!
And I wondered if your over-$100-purchase-answer would involve a guitar...
I'm looking forward to Monday's blogfest... countdown to death of a ninja... *cue jaws-styled evil music*
Some great releases there, Alex, thanks for showcasing them! And that blogfest looks so fun :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lynda and Angela on their new books.
ReplyDeleteYour answer for 7 is the best I've seen yet - hmm, quite an image!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to those with new releases. The premise of Angela's sounds fun.
Wow, lots going on with releases. Congrats everyone! Looking forward to next week's Alexfest!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being cheerful Ninja Captain ;D
ReplyDeleteCongrats to everyone! Monday will rock, lol
I love the cover and concept for Lynda's book.
ReplyDeleteLOL... Wake me Up Before you Go-Go. LOL
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new guitar! But hey no Stairway allowed! :D
Thanks for clearing that up. I thought I'd lost what little tech-savviness I'd gained. LOL
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all! :D
John Goodman in a bikini - best answer yet. hahaha
Oh, Man...I was gonna write something really really nice then I saw the answer to number ten.
ReplyDeleteWhat??!! Come onnnnn. How can you say that when Little Drummer Boy is out there.
*still laughing*
Michelle, it was either a guitar or a tech toy!
ReplyDeleteNick, sorry it that image is now stuck in your head...
Pk, don't worry!!
Melissa, thanks!
Love the blogfest questions. Sorry I've been absent so long, been a bit out of the world, but glad to be back:)
ReplyDeleteAlex - LOL. I loved your blogfest answers. And I can't believe you dislike Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go. What???? *snicker*
ReplyDeleteI think it's really cool that bloggers are doing a fest in your honor. If anyone deserves it, it's you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Angela. Sorry I'm not participating in the roasting blog fest, Alex. I am doing a major overhaul concerning writing and blogging, which begins for me on Monday.
ReplyDeleteMark, glad you are back!
ReplyDeleteRaShelle, believe it!
Karen, thank you. It's very humbling.
Susan, that is fine! I think I will be fried to a crisp as it is...
How about that? I just submitted to Curiosity Quills recently. Time will tell if anything comes of that. I will never think of John Goodman the same way again! :)
ReplyDeleteSorry to be so late to the party, Alex. There's such a great diversity of books out there to catch up on.
ReplyDeleteYour Goodman jab is very funny.
xoRobyn
Bugatti Veyron! Nice choice. And good thinking not laughing at the wife. :-)
ReplyDeleteI loved your answers! I read your article on the CQ site, but it was damn near impossible to leave a comment, so I gave up. They are my publisher--hope it's not that hard to comment allll the time, lol.
ReplyDeleteYou're gonna be bright red after this Ninja blogfest Alex, hehe. Bugatti Veyron is probably the best sports car the world has ever seen. This thing moves like a rocket, so you have to remember when speeding, the beast needs road to stop.
ReplyDeleteDavid, hope something great comes from it!
ReplyDeleteRobyn, you are never late.
Natasha, I know better.
Jamie, what a shame! Let them know, as I've had no problems commenting.
Spacerguy, it is THE sports car. And yes, I will be Rudolph come Monday.
Now I'm recalling my crap car from my teenage years. Fun blog hop.
ReplyDeleteIt's great seeing Lynda everywhere.
I bookmarked Angela's book. I hope to read it.
Haha--Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is pretty bad. What a strange pop culture phenomenon.
ReplyDeleteNo camping? *Gasps* I've always done a ton of camping, and those are some of my favorite vacations. I'm trying to convince my husband to do a long weekend hike of part of the Appalachian trail. Someday...
ReplyDeleteWow! So much great news (and new reads). I love it.
