I want to wish all of my followers and friends a Merry Christmas!
I treasure all of the special friends I've made this past year. May you have a peaceful and blessed holiday season, whatever you may be celebrating. As for me and my house, we'll be celebrating the greatest gift of all.
Merry Christmas and go easy on the eggnog!
I'll be around, but if not, I'll see you Sunday when I post my review of True Grit. (Because it's always movie season!)
And if you want to get me something really cool, go vote for my book trailer at
Parajunkee!
I’ve heard good thing of this remake of True Grit. I hope it lives up to the rumors. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteA merry solstice celebration to you, too. I look forward to the True Grit review. At first I said "what the %&*!--you're going to remake the Duke?" But then the Daily Beast said it was great. Because, ahem, the novel it's based on is FUNNY. Love to find out if you laughed.
ReplyDeleteGo easy on the eggnog? You're killing me, man, killing me.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure there was a hue and cry to do another TRUE GRIT. All that talent, skill, and craft could have made an excellent original movie. But Hollywood loves its re-boots of old favorites as the recognition factor is already there.
ReplyDeleteI will be there with my vote for your awesome book trailer, Alex.
I wish you a Christmas week that is filled with love, healing, and happy surprises! Roland
Have a great holiday :-)
ReplyDeletemake the best of time with family and friends... happy holidays.
ReplyDeleteMy manly man wants to go see the remaking of True Grit. He's a fan. After you review maybe I'll take him to it. Have a great Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you & your family! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't go easy on the eggnog as it's only available until early January. I love the stuff w/ added cinnamon & whipped cream.

Have a wonderful Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you too Alex. I'm curious to see what you think of True Grit. I'm not going to watch it because I think it's sacrilegious to even think of remaking anything John Wayne was in. I hope you have a great holiday! :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Alex - and I've already voted for you.
ReplyDeleteAlready voted Alex. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI do treasure all the many friends I've made mainly through Ato Z and your Dirty Dozen I wish you and your family a Happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year.

Merry Christmas, Alex. I hope yours is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I'm hoping to find a certain person's debut Sci-Fi novel under the tree (which I have purposely not bought so that others can get it for me LOL). If that does happen, you can expect a post describing how much I enjoyed reading it (since I already know I'm gonna love it).
Take care, buddy!
Thanks, Eric - I'll be watching for that post. And I'll personally beat up Santa if the book doesn't appear under the tree Christmas morning!
