Awards and New Look For Blog

From Summer at And This Time Concentrate!

The Soulmates Award. This award originated with Christi Goddard at A Torch in the Tempest and is one part gift, one part social experiment! Fun!
The rules:
1. Choose five followers/commenters that 'get' you
2. Write something fake (preferably not too mean) about them
3. Link to them, and link back to this post to comment your receipt of the award.

This is what Summer had to say about ME!
"Alex J. Cavanaugh has dated both Kate Beckinsale and Kate Winslet; obviously, he has a thing for women named Kate. Just stay away from Kate Gosselin!"

I think two Kates are already more than I can handle!
I pass this on to:

Michele at Southern City Mysteries who secretly hates mystery
Galen at Imagineering Fiction who really has no sense of humor at all
Falen at Falen Formulates Fiction who is secretly seeing Sting on the side
Diane Spunk On A Stick’s Tips at who secretly hates cats
Dez at Hollywood Spy who really doesn’t love anyone

The second one is the Quest Award from B. Miller at B. Miller Fiction, who had nothing but nice things to say about me. Thanks, Miller, I hope I continue posting informative stuff with lots of movie info!

I pass the Quest Award on to

Marvin at The Old Silly who is on a quest of peace and humor across the web!

And let me know what you think of the new look for this blog!

Congratulations on the awards Alex! And the new look (even though I'm a new "follower") to your blog is very eye-appealing (which is better than eye-peeling)
best,

Kudos on the awards, and thanks for thinking of The Old Silly!

I love the new look. Where'd you get the template?

Jamie and Marvin, I received an email from blogger inviting me to try the new 'blogger draft' mode and templates. The combinations are endless!
If you'd like, I'll send you the link so you can take a look.

Thanks Jen and Diane.

And rogue, I don't want to peel anyone's eyes now!

Very interesting new look for the blog. I like it.

It's too bad you weren't born many, many years earlier. You could have hooked up with Katherine (Kate) Hepburn.

Congrats on the award Alex :)

It seems you chose the right person to pass this award to, since I'm also a bit addicted to Cate's and Kate's (Winslet, Blanchett, Zeta Jones...) :))

Although I'm not sure your comment about me isn't too mean :PPP (just joking :)

I shall proudly display the award over in HOLLYWOOD SPY's award shelf for everyone to see it and get envious.

Yeah, Helen, I missed out on that Kate.

Cool, Dez - let the little people look upon your award and drool.
And hey, I had to come up with some kind of lie!

Hey, Alex, Thank you for thinking of me in terms of this award. Very gracious...but,you're right, I *don't* have a sense of humor, so you'll have to try harder to write some thing fake--or mean! Seriously though, I appreciate the idea that I "get" your blog. I sure hope I do. It always has interesting content.

Speaking of blog. Yes, you've made a giant leap forward with this new format. Very appealing, very easy to read. I like it and I like the digital background...so sci fi-ish. So, a big thumbs up from me.

Best Wishes, Galen.

Thank you Jemi and Galen. I really liked the Matrix look.

And Galen, you have a GREAT sense of humor! That's why I keep coming back to your blog.

I started playing around with the Blogger in Draft tool last night. Fun stuff, but mind-consuming! I like the Matrix motif.

Congratz on the other award, and glad to see you spreading the Soulmate Award in some new directions!

Thanks for passing it to me, Summer.

Yeah, took me a while to figure out how to change font color, but I'm happy with the look now.

I like it. I think I like the change for the sake of change more than the actual layout, which is good. I changed my format before and may do so again. Just for the sake of change.

It's a good new look love!

Thanks Stephen and Hagelrat. And it was change because it really needed to be better.

I like the new layout, but I'm so bloggy eyed that I forget what the old one looked like. All I know is thatI like a white page with black print that looks like a book and yours is easy to read.
In fact, I didn't realize I wasn't following your blog--thought I was since I always read it. Well now I'm an official follower.

I discovered this when I was adding my list of those participating in the Blogging From A to Z Challenge and saw you weren't in my reader. So you're added to my reader now and to my challenge sidebar. Let me know if I misunderstood your answer on Saturday and I'll remove your name, but if you're still on then good luck and happy challenge.
